The company MELPO T. + I. Dimitriou O.E is continually present for 69 years, by manufacturing since 1949 the first Electric Water Heaters and Kitchen Absorbers sold in Greece.
After its establishment, MELPO makes its presence intense in Greece and it participates in 35 International Commercial Exhibitions (Athens, Lamia, Thessaloniki, Marseilles, Zagreb,Paris, Frankfurt, Nikosia, Varna, etc.), financed by the state -Ministry of Energy and Technology.
With these participations it acquired several Prizes and the Gold Medal for the quality of its products and its services in the Greek and international market.
In 1965, MELPO Company introduces a new range of products in the market:
The SM-MELPO Solar Thermal Systems, known for their technological applications, their efficiency, quality and appearance, manage to acquire a large portion of the Greek and foreign market.
With the continuous research, the experienced staff, the top quality of raw materials, the construction according to the DIN Standards, the CE Mark ,the Solar Thermal Systems Key Mark (EN 12976-2*/ISO 9459-2**), and its huge experience, MELPO has achieved to be a very reliable and serious company.
The products of MELPO Company are known since 1949 for the production quality and their high efficiency in Greece and abroad and these are:
- The M-MELPO Εlectric Water Heaters series, in 10,25,40,60,80,100 and 120 lit,
vertical, horizontal or floor tanks, specially protected with Εpoxy Phenolic Resins treatment and Magnesium Rod.
- The EB-MELPO Electro-Boilers series, double, triple energy in 60, 80,100,120,160, and 200 lit, vertical, horizontal or floor tanks of high performance.
- The SM-MELPO Solar Thermal Systems from 100 to 300 lit, perfect in appearance quality and performance, with boilers protected with Εpoxy Phenolic Resins treatment, or made of Stainless Steel and collectors totally constructed by copper with specially formed selective fins for better absorption of solar energy.
- The A-MELPO Kitchen Absorbers series ,with 1 or 2 no noise motors, in 60,70,75 and 90 cm, and the Incorporated-With-Wall type, the Moving type and the Fire-Place Absorber of 60 cm and 90 cm with 2 motors.
Nowdays MELPO has a strong co operation with selected EU companies in the area of electrical appliancies and energy systems.
The sales of the Company are supported by a large sales network, expanded in the whole of Greece and abroad as well. Part of it are several markets of electrical appliance, e.t.c.
MELPO is part of the Greek Solar Industry Association (G.S.I.A).(G.S.I.A) is part of the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (E.S.T.I.F).
